vice dvd screening in austin! - john

PartyEnds is proud to (help) present a FREE screening of the brand new Vice Guide To Travel in Austin TX at the Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek. Please see the cool ass banner to the left if you don’t believe me. On November 2nd at 7:30 you should come check it out on the big screen. Our favorite quality (and yet reasonably priced) winery- Hi. Wine- is going to be on hand to dish out killer drink specials. Austinist will be one hand with all sorts of goodies, and the country’s best independent record store Waterloo Records will be on hand in the lobby with copies of the GREAT DVD for sale if you just can’t get enough. The DVD is packed with great extras so picking up the DVD from Waterloo Records is a really good idea.
The DVD is a collection of the Vice reporters and celebrity correspondents (David Cross, Johnny Knoxville) going to the worst places in the world. In my humble opinion, the scenes from radioactive Chernobyl are the best. Some of the only survivors from the tragedy were the firemen who, while trying to extinguish the nuclear plant’s disastrous flames, figured they were doomed so they drank heavily. The copious amounts of alcohol in their systems did some crazy scientific shit and they came out alright. Based on this logic: the Vice Co-founder and company drank heavily for over 20 hours before getting some high powered weapons and attempting to hunt mutant wild boars. God bless Vice. God bless Chernobyl. God bless this FREE DVD screening that I will see you at.

The screening will be a blast and there is no better place to see it than at the Alamo Drafthouse. They have tons of beers, wines, and some mighty tasty food available for you to aid in your enjoyment of your FREE Vice DVD screening. Check out more info on the event at Alamo online.
