Party Ends

   Ok, there is Death Disco and there is Shit Robot, but there is hybrid of those names that you should take note of- ShitDisco. For a while I thought that I had seen them open up for LCD Soundsystem a while back but then remembered that it was Shit Robot… anyway- these guys formed in Glasgow art school (don’t they all) and have since been touring with the Rapture and Klaxons,  so- by my watch, they should be catching on like !!!-cakes any minute here in America. The songs on their album Kingdome of Fear are all fast and arguably “sloppy” disco punk. I would call this disco gutter punk, because it's much less polished and concerned about being played in clubs than most electro dance punk seems to be. And, rather than follow the trend of being self aware and cheeky, these guys are writing songs about kung-fu fighting and Big Brother.

   This is the Glasgow Clap! Clap!, in that they make wherever they play into the best party going on that given night.  ShitDisco has the energy and the attitude to make lots of Internet seekers take notice. Educate yourself:
